Are vegas buffets worth it?

Did Hitler kill 6 million Jews?

Yeah actually the good ones are. A lobster tail, a ribeye, a couple French cut lamb chops for $18? Sure why not.

so yes but it's really overhyped?

It does seem very style over substance

I live here... so I say no, despite the semi-reasonable price. But people are in love with them.

I guess the question is, how much food do you really need to feel full? At most places for me, one plate is filling enough to be done. At a buffet, I can do 3-5 plates if I want to just chow down on a bunch of random shit, but then literally need to sleep for the rest of the day & night.

Bachannal is probably the highest quality here, but even still, the price is a barrier to entry. I'd rather spend the money on one high quality plate.

Does the guy in OP's pic live at that buffet?

Hell no. Vegas casinos actually have the pull to deliver substance at a reasonable price. Stick to the ones that offer lobster. Just be prepared to pay about fiddy per head.
