I'm making palt (swedish potato dumplings) and have 8 liters of water in the pot if you include the palt. The water was boiling like 25 minutes ago when I added them, but there have been no bubbling happening since and I'm using the biggest stove plate on max. What the fuck do I do? Does it even matter that the water isn't evaporating properly?

It's been like an half hour though, it seems to have reached basically a steady state

but some of them have started floating and my mom said they were roughly done then so you might be right that it doesn't matter

You need 3 things, first grab some salt..1.5 tablespoons should do, toss that in. Next buy a new stove. Next a pinch of lavender for aroma.
