Saute the garlic in olive oil at medium heat for a couple of minutes until aromatic. Dice all vegetables to approximately the same size (doesn't have to be perfect) and add to the pot in the following order (allowing each to come to temperature on its own)

1. Broccolini
2. Carrots
3. Sweet potato
4. Pumpkin

Once all of these have come up to temp add in your vegetable stock to cover and bring to the boil. This is a good time to add aromatic herbs such as bay leaves and rosemary etc. Reduce heat to a simmer allow to cook until stock reduced by about half. Once stock has reduced and vegetables are cooked you can serve as is or you can blend it (stick blenders are great for this) for a smooth consistency. Adding some cream is a good touch as well if blending. Season to taste and eat it. Serve with crusty buttered bread.

>1. Broccolini
I would leave it out desu. Cooked the fuck out of broccolini doesn't have a pleasant texture to me. Might be nicer grilled and added just before serving.
