Seems a good choice. Messermeister is a solid German brand. Actually the brand is Burgvogel ("castlebird"), but in the US the knives are sold under the name Messermeister.

Olivewood looks and feels very nice, it is a sustainable material and it is almost indestructible. No reason why it shouldn't be worth a premium. Burgvogel sells the identical blades with plastic/triple rivet handles too, under the name Comfort Line. Maybe they are cheaper.
