Hey /ck/, /g/ here. My marriage counselor says that doing activities like cooking with my wife will help with some of our issues. Now I don't really cook, and neither does my no good, lazy, piece of shit wife, so I'm gonna need some super easy and cheap recipes.

Pastas are really easy to make. Hamburgers can also be fun to make, and baking can also be sort of cool to do.

In terms of easiness, salads are so easy even your lazy, worthless wife can prepare one.

Have her put these in the oven for you. Hope it works out.

Bake a "I am trying" cake with her.

Legitimately, though, baking together is very collaborative and fun.

OP here. Can you guys stick to discussing recipes? I just got a new set of kitchen knives and I want to put them to use.

Make something simple, a good roast would be a good start or have a bbq or something, you grill the meat and your wife handles the sides or something

Why don't you roast a chicken over some potatoes and maybe some other veggies? That would be sure to be good, not to mention quite easy.

Easily one of my top 5 homemade dishes OP, you should try it out. Once you've bought the spices they will last a long time so don't worry about cost. If you want it to be frugal, buy a whole chicken and seperate the thighs, wings and breasts by yourselves. Carcass can create a nice base for soup as well!

Nice trips.
But is it hard to accomplish that? I've never seen those things where I live. So I have no idea how resilient they are.

Your marriage counselor is a fucking idiot.

You know what to do.

Makes some chicken parm, fucking delicious and pretty easy, just make sure to get the oil hot and use enough. There's a link to a sauce in the recipe or you can use a store bought one if you're a pleb. Just made it tonight was fucking cash. Don't forget to drink while you cook, way more fun and stuff comes out better.
