The waiter speaks english (wheter Br. or Am.)

Real answers:

Small menu
"Chef's specials" actually change
Menu isn't laminated paper
Glass cups
Cloth napkins
Candles on tables
Decor that isn't outdated or irrelevant
Happy waiters/waitresses

This is really only applying to expensive restaurants though.

Literally when they just need to get rid of shit that is going to go bad soon.

If I may be so bold, what's with your discrimination against Dairy Queen, sir?

the one here only has teenager employees and they take 10+ minutes to make a mini blizzard. also the food is bland and most of the times cold.

Menu is seasonal, or even better, daily.

>> No.8306615

Whenever I go somewhere "good" I steal dishes, silverware, salt and pepper shakers, other condiments, Parmesan cheese, fabric napkins, packaged butter, jam, coffee creamers, crackers, and whatever else I can get away with. Its much easier than traditional shoplifting, and almost zero chance of getting called out on it.
Always pay with cash, not a credit card! Anonymous should already know this. Hit & run, never return, or wait at least several months.

Not all the time. One place I worked at, the specials always consisted of seasonal stuff from local farms. They were also always, without question, the best thing you could order (also the most expensive).

Nice quotes. Can we assume TGI Friday's or Applebees are your definition of "good"?

I felt like saying "glass cups" would make my point more understandable.

People would immediately think of plastic cups.

english is not my first language, but wouldn't be something like "actual drinking glasses" more natural?

People sometimes use the term "glass" regardless of the material.

I used to steal silverware as a joke. Throw it in my mom's purse and see how much stuff I can cram in there before she noticed. Once left with full service for 5.

Now, I'll just steal cool looking beer glasses from pubs. Truly fun.

small menu
seasonal
local fish/meats

if i look up the place and it doesnt meet these criteria i usually wont bother

if the waiters arent enthusiastic enough to hold conversation about the menu im unlikely to go back

They're never happy anon, they just have to pretend to be.
