How do I keep my homecooked food from spoiling in the fridge? I usually cook for the next 3-4 days, and my shit tastes funny already on the third day.

I just started cooking my own stuff and this is my fourth big meal. I think it also had to do with a fact that my last dish was heavy on soy sauce.

+1

Save for max the next two days imo. You can freeze lots of stuff though

Why, I thought it was normal.

i don't know if there's science to back this up but i've noticed if you cook a bunch of stuff together, if you keep the different parts as separated as possible for storage, it seems to last longer

i figure more ingredients just have more potential to interact negatively with one another and spoil

So cook for the week, leave 2 days worth of food in the fridge, put the rest in the freezer. The day before you want to eat the stuff, pull it down and put it in the fridge to defrost. There.
