is it true that vitamin C makes you practically inmune to colds or is it just bullshit?
what can you eat to strenghten your defenses and to prevent catching a cold or any other similar illnesses?

Bullshit

And keeping clean (washing hands and stuff) will do more to prevent sickness than any food.

It's always surprising to me that most people don't wash their hands before they eat. They're out in public shaking people's hands and touching door handles, but they just eat without washing their hands. They get sick at least a couple times a year and they don't know why. It's not super-science.

By the way, Bell Peppers contain more Vitamin C than any fruit.

There are a lot of foods people claim to help with colds or fevers.

Some people like Wasabi, fake or realm since Wasabi helps clear up a stuffy nose.

Some people like drinking coconut juice or nibbling coconut meat if they have a cold

I heard in Southeast Asia, they eat Durian after recovering from a cold or illness since Durian contains a lot of magnesium.

I don't know but I think consuming yogurt or fermented foods helps strengthen your gut and prepare itself for any antibiotic use in the future.
