I read this article in a journal for a paper I was writing.
It said that if America goes to a tipless system in general, prices will go up to cover the extra expenses needed to pay the waitstaff.
The percent was around a 20% increase, which is the amount most people tip anyways.
Also, since the establishment will be getting the extra revenue, instead of the servers directly, the quality of the food and restaurant will reflect the increase.
Example: The country with the highest Michelin star rating per restaurant is Sweden (2014), and they don't have a tipping culture.

Yeah, pretty much the same thing happened to me last week except I got shot a few more times than him cuz I'm black.
