I've done all of that, fish, eggs, potato slices etc.

Problem is if you put the head thingie down, it will squeeze the juices a bit out of the meat, and if you don't it will take a long time to cook. So if you have something you can place between the buttom and the top, so that it doesn't squeeze the juices out of the meat, then it's all good.

A pan is better than this, so if you have the option to use a pan then save yourself the trouble
....I don't have that option where I currently live, and after a few years of eating at fast food places, I had enough and now I cook meat in a panini and soup in a french fry machine, and pasta in a freaking electric kettle.

I had one for a few years. I gave it away after a wile. To make really good things with it you have to spend the money on quality bread, cheese and cured meats. Once you've done that you can hit restaurant levels of salty greasy starchy deliciousness that invites a glass or two of wine.

For me it was just part of a pattern of expensive eating that wasn't all that healthy that sucked up my money and put fat around my waist. I decided it was better to go out once in a while for that sort of thing than to have it at home on any kind of regular basis.

Try comparing it with the specs of a george foreman grill.

If they are similar and it has a grease tray then you can do pretty much any grilling with it.

Yep, it's been in the box, unopened, in a closet for 10 years. I just use the Foreman for sandwiches

Way better than Taco Bell burritos

Chocolate and cheap white bread. It sounds boring, but its really good...

take the foreman and toss in the trash where it belongs. if you own a foreman the only thing it's good for is bieng a pannini press. and if you already have an actual pannini press you should be using that instead of that cheap piece of nigger engineered crap

The worst is fat around your heart but I agree with your post. If you use shitty white bread and crappy cheese you get a crappy sandwich but sure it's a grilled cheese. It's easier and safer to buy one once in a while (not grilled cheese but a panini or whatever good meat/cheese hot sandwich) and not waste the money and make them at home and eat it all the time.

Is a gf grill really that bad? Used to have one to cook heaps of stuff and remember it being pretty good.

I was considering getting another one. Why shouldnt I get one?
