Japanese, especially the older generations, are under this impression that other nations might not have as high of food safety standards, and worry about produce, meats, and sometimes water quality. That's partly why they are so often seen ordering ateaks well-done, want produce peeled, and prefer to drink bottled water.

It's pretty good.
The bare minimum ingredients are dark chocolate, fresh blood and sugar which are all cooked together in a double boiler so that the sugar and chocolate melt and the blood doesn't curdle but, rather, thickens.

Most recipes include additions, orange zest and almond essence or liqueur being particularly common.

There's a pie version, too, where the blood-thickened pudding is poured into a baked crust and allowed to set.

We also make bloodcake, which is a recipe similar to spiced chocolate poundcake, but with the eggs being replaced by fresh blood. Powdered cacao, flour and sweet spices (cinnamon, nutmeg etc; whatever you'd like, really) are sifted together. Sugar is creamed with butter then beaten with blood.
Finally, the flour mixture is stirred into the blood mixture by hand, poured into a floured baking pan and baked until cooked through and set.

It's hardly evil.

Y'all weak-ass burgers got nothing on brazilian burger. We put everything in those motherfuckers: bacon, cheese, ham, sausages, chicken, lettuce, tomato, corn, peas, onion, potato chips, mayo, ketchup, mustard and whatnot (often all at once, plus the patties themselves, which are pretty much always shitty cardboard-tier patties). The slang for them is "podrão", which means something like "the big ol' rotten". It's absolutely disgusting but fucking delicious at the same time. Pic obviously related. (To be honest, pretty much all brazilian street food is disgusting.)
Apart from that, the only kinda-disgusting dish I can think of is sarapatel, a stew made from pork innards and blood. Not something really uncommon, from what I've seen in this thread.

Also in my hometown we eat balls and eyes of the cow and make salad with its brain.
