For fucks sake. This girl is from my hometown. She is legally blind or sighted but isn't completely. She can see fine (slightly blurred shapes and colors) everything ~1-2 feet radius in front her. The show carefully never mentioned this at all. Masterchef and shows like it are prompted so the contestants aren't totally unprepared for challenges. It wasn't a miracle she won.

There was an interview where Ramsay said the contestants are actually taught on how to cook a dish 2 weeks before filming and that 2 weeks will be for them to polish up their work. The other idiots probably dont taste their food whereas she most likely has to do it every few seconds.
