Allright, I have been living alone for 2 years already and I know how to cook (atleast good enough for myself), but only things I have are a pan, a few pots (1l, 2,5l and 5l). I have been eating stirfryes, stroganoffs and pasta for 2 years and am looking for ideas, keep in mind I dont own an oven (just a propane hotplate) and my fridge is shit. Id apreciate some ideas, becouse Im sick of rice and potatoes.
pic unrelated.

Omelets or fritattas--easy to make, and has an endless variety of possible fillings.
Curry (Indian, Jap, or other variation)
Stews and soups (of which there are countless variations)
The frying pan can cook steaks, chops, chicken, fish fillets...
You can steam veggies in a pot, saute them in the frying pan, etc.

Yea stews I already make, forgot to mention that, and frying meat/eggs is a given. But curry is seriously something that I overlooked, You can do that i noly one pot/pan? I thought you had to have some specialised shit for that, its not a common food here.

That depends, where do you live? Or can you get Amazon deliveries out there if you are out in BFE? You could buy the curry seasoning packet if you can't find ingredients or buy the ingredients separately if you can. It shouldn't take multiple pots (especially not with the packet - Simply Asia brand Indian Essentials). I make a Santa Fe style dish that I cook in one big pot, and you can also make lots of Chinese, Filipino, etc food in one pot (or one large and another small). Granted those use rice and potatoes but the flavor difference might help. You didn't mention pasta though - spaghetti? You could fry things also if you don't mind going that route).

>fridge is shit
Good reason to learn old world food storage techniques like confit, pickling, salting and curing.

Yes. You can cook it in a single pot, frying pan, wok, whatever. Nothing specialized needed.

I saw that recipe on the Internet a few years ago, and made it exactly how it's written. It's p. decent.
