Mostly people get bent about it because its an anonymous image board, so everyone is Schrödinger's flyover, both in a major city and also rural as fuck, since we all exist on a board that has no geographical specificity until some one assigns it, purely as an insult in the case of flyover, to mean uncultured or some other pejorative nonsense.

In short, people should insult each other on the basis of their logic and argument. But this is a board about food, which can be subjective AF. So insults like flyover, that are also fairly subjectively applied fit in unfortunately well.

There have been many great posts about why flyover doesn't mean anything when taken literally, since man can and has, literally, flown over every part of the globe.
