The seasonings on top help to compliment the caramelized cheese and tomato sauce around the edges.

The crust, a superb golden color on top that darkens towards the bottom, a perfect indicator for the inside texture.

Finally, the only thing on top of the cheese: pepperoni. You don't need much when you're cooking at home.
