The reason I ask is that when you produce vinegar by fermentation of alcohol you end up with acetic acid (the main component of "vinegar"), as well as other flavors produced by the bacteria, plus those remaining from whatever you started with (beer in this case, but for other vinegars could be wine, cider, etc.)

OTOH reacting methanol with CO would yield just the acid only, with no other flavor. It would be like comparing distilled white vinegar to a flavorful malt vinegar.

....or are they adding some kind of other flavor to the non-brewed type to make up for the lack of the flavor from the "beer"?

The donuts are made from a premade mix that comes in 20 pound bags, proofed with yeast, fried in soybean oil, topped with a glaze that came from a bucket. The coffee sucks, the rest of our baked goods come from a freezer...

Because we have alot of old buildings which we cannot tear down to make way for glass and steel stuff as they are "grade listed" which means they have historical importance.

Take for instance the OPs pic, the building on the right is being used as a train station but it looks like it used to be a victorian workhouse which means it will be grade listed do you cannot alter it in any way without permission.

That and it rains all the time and you see alot of negative pictures on 4chan in general.
