What realistic cooking expectations would you have of a housewife?

Mainly just make something edible for dinner. Real life is a lot different than /ck/ life. If she stays at home she can throw some food together so I don't have to after 8-14 hours of work. On weekends I normally cook instead. Breakfast and lunch I take care of myself because I'm at work. Usually just a slim jim and bottle of water.
