So 4chan, what's the weirdest/best/worst/otherwise notable food you've eaten that wasn't made from a concrete recipe and was still edible? Provide images, if possible. I'll start.

>My friend came up with a thing.
>I call them "hash whites."
>Sort of like hash browns, but made in the microwave, and more shit.

Here's the "recipe," as far as I can tell, for those interested.
>Get potatoes. My friend usually uses 2 or 3, but I suppose you could use as many as you wanted.
>Wash and peel the potatoes.
>Next, cut the potatoes into little pieces, as in really little pieces.
>Put the cut-up potatoes on a plate, and spread it into a decently thick layer.
>Add salt, pepper, butter and whatever else to taste.
>Put in microwave and nuke it on "High" for 2 minutes.

IMO, this stuff is edible, but, I wouldn't eat it if I had other options. That image is COOKED hash whites.

Oh, also, when the butter melts, it dissolves some of the salt. The it evaporates off, and you get the bottom of the hash white coated in a fine layer of salt crystals.

Poppy Seed Chicken

>Take one whole chicken
>Lightly brush it with vegetable oil and sprinkle it with salt
>Put it in a roasting pan with lemon juice and finely mixed garlic
>Bake chicken as usual, but take it out 30 minutes before it's done
>Brush it with melted butter
>Cover the chicken with poppy seeds
>Cook another 30 minutes

It's so crispy and the seeds add a delicious crunch.

I put liquid smoke in my pancake batter. Does this count?

Weird? I guess lately that time I pushed brazil nuts into jalapeno poppers was odd. I liked the extra crunch/snap and the added flavor.

Notable? I started putting pork/beef combo together with cream of celery and fajita spices and then threw rice on top of that and then cooked an egg on top of that. I found it incredibly pleasant.

Olive tajine.
>Put 4 peeled and diced zuchinis, 2 stalks of celery, 6 big carrots peeled and diced and a can of olive in pressure cooker.
>Barely cover with water
>Add spices I use pepper, thyme, rosemary and salt
>Pressure cook that shit
>Put in tajine dish (zucchinis first, mash them in the bottom, rest on top)
>Put as much broth as possible in there, keep the rest (it's pretty good broth, you can use it as veggie stock)
>Cook in the oven for as long as possible (minimum 4 hours)
Eat with semolina or rice. If you don't want to keep it vegetarian, lamb meat goes with this best.

I don't even know what to call it but it's fucking delicious on sandwiches. Onion ginger relish I guess

My new favorite food is something extremely simple I have come up with:

First you flatten minced meat into a disc on a frying pan.
Fry for ten minutes, flip over, add pepper and fry five more.
Take a full cheese, and you are ready to start eating.

For each mouthful, cut a slice of cheese and a piece of meat small enough to wrap in the slice. Eat, enjoy and repeat.

Pic unrelated, it's a pizza I made without reading any recipes.

Literally just made this, and am currently eating it.

>diced pork
>chopped onions (yellow and green)
>chopped mushrooms
>salt, pepper, garlic powder, a bit of lemon juice, and some maple syrup because I thought "fuck it"
>throw that shit in a pan and sautee, let it cook
>say to myself, "Bro, let's get some starch in this"
>take out some hashbrowns and break them apart, add to the pan
>alternate between cooking and dancing

Now, I'll be straight up, it sounds god awful, it looks not that great, but it smelled wonderful and tastes alright.

Also, if you haven't picked up, I have absolutely no idea what I was doing. I'm just a hungry college man with ingredients in the fridge.

My salmon surprise:
>Two cans of skinless/boneless salmon, cooked in olive oil with black pepper and turmeric
>1 cup brown rice
>1 bag of frozen spinach (obviously cooked before addition)
>Mix salmon/rice/spinach with lime juice, 1/2 stick butter, A1 sauce, and parm
I know its pleb but its so satisfying to eat, really picks me up, and this seems to be a good size for two meals worth.
