And every Filipino except for one I've met in this godforsaken Filip neighbourhood (which I have lived for 10+ years now, if I recall correctly) has been very closed minded unless you can speak Tagalog. Hell, to try to expain how rude a lot of them are, there was a festival a couple of months back to promote the Filip community to the rest of the city and get some of that tourism bux, but they wouldn't even give you the time of day unless you looked like a Filipino.

I'm real filipino lived there half my life. Pork adobo is probably my best dish to make. Maybe it's because it's just so bad for you, all that pork fat turning into oil/soup. I love it so much. But if you can find a legit flip restaurant run by flips from pampanga try sisig it's like crunchy pork almost the same as adobo but no soup.
