Tried Beaver Tails and what do you think of them?

They look like elephant ears.

Think of flat, crunchy funnel cake with a bit of a chew to it, covered in sugar and cinnamon, i think sometimes there is some butter on it.

Interesting. I would try it. I grew up near Buffalo, NY which is near Canada but we had fried dough there and not the Beaver tails.

I've tried making my own, and it's something I'd definitely recommend. Especially if you roll them in real maple sugar right after frying.

These always remind me of trips to the Toronto zoo when I was young. Anything but the lemon-sugar one is a bit too sweet and messy for my tastes, though. I wish the apple one actually tasted like apple.

>> No.7581955

I've first learnt about Beaver Tails in Stoked. I thought they're fictional.

American here, it disappoints me too.

At least I can still get flipper pie when I visit.

I wanted one with just white sugar and lemon.
They put cinnamon on everything though and don't care if you ask then not to put any on it. QQ
