Allt hänger på fyllningen. Om man använder ett rimmat och rökt fläsk och ser till att ta i lite med kryddpepparn så kompenserar det rätt bra den oftast rätt smaklösa degen.
Jag använder extra mycket salt när jag kokar dom och sen smörsteker jag kroppkakorna innan servering för att få till en krispig yta.

Har du provat blodpalt? Tyckte du i så fall att degen fick tillräckligt med smak?

Fry finely chopped garlic in some olive oil until they get a nice color then add a can of good quality tomatoes. Using good quality canned tomatoes is key and pic related is always a good choice. Boil for 10 minutes and add chopped fresh basil. Salt and pepper to taste.
I like a smooth sauce so I put it in a blender at this point, but this is just personal preference. Either way works.

This is all you really have to do in order to get a really nice pizza sauce.
I have tried to do tomato sauces with fresh ripe tomatoes, onions, and all kinds of ingredients and letting it simmer for hours but to be quite honest, all those different and subtle flavours get's lost on a pizza under all of those toppings.

Yeah, lingonberries are sure nice to have around. They grow like weeds in most Swedish forests so during August and September it's easy to stock up a years supply.
Cranberries aren't bad though, you can use them to substitute lingonberries in most dishes.

You'll find them around pine, make sure to find spots that gets a little bit of sun. Usually I find lingonberries on the same spots where I find blueberries.

My main use is to mash them up and stir it with sugar. Goes great with cream sauces and venison.
