Seeking spam recipes. I crave it a couple times a year, but usually fall back on two dishes: spam and eggs, and sandwiches with spam, mustard and mayo.

How do you eat SPAM?

i dont

I've never had SPAM and have always seen it as a complete, utter last resort. Do people seriously eat this?

When I was in college I had a panini grill and not a lot of money, and a couple of slices of spam and a couple of kraft singles makes a pretty trashy but delicious grilled cheese.

It's just spiced ham.

It shouldn't be considering it's more expensive than most fresh meat.

>> No.7504492

I slice it about 1 cm thick, fry it in pan, eat with kimchi and steamed rice

I don't. But I get close....

I do crave canned Underwood Deviled Ham occasionally. With it, I combine cream cheese, pimentos, and hot sauce into a sandwich spread, which goes between potato rolls or hawaiian rolls. Makes a rendition of "bocaditos" the cuban party cocktail sized snack.

Along a similar vein, I really enjoy corned beef hash, esp the reduced fat Hormel, because I think it gets crispier. I probably open a can from the pantry every other month, or whenever I happen to have a loaf of rye bread for toast to go with it.

It really is pretty shitty, I don't know why, but I'm kinda like OP and actually think about having it sometimes.

its pretty much just canned ham its good and doesn't need refrigeration

>> No.7505075

Sliced, fried, (a slight crispness) on bread with some Mayo. It's actually pretty good, but not something you would have all the time.

It's just salty meat. It tastes good. The "spam is shit" meme comes from pretentious faggots who have never even had it.

I'm quite partial to spam fried rice.

Born and raised in Hawaii, and musubi is the only way I eat spam.

Something about the combination of flavors just works perfectly.

I love putting spam in ramen. Chinese roommate showed me that. He also used to put spam in with his boiled ribs. Damn those were good! Wish I had the recipe.

>> No.7505624

SPAM fried rice is fine. It's the same as regular fried rice but with SPAM.

Rice, egg, carrot, and broccoli. I steam the veggies in the microwave, cook the spam on the stove, and mix it all together with the fried rice in a skillet.
