Which style of donut do you prefer?

Light and fluffy on the inside or thick and full?

I honestly can't decide.

There are fluffy donuts like this that you could squeeze and flatten with your fingers.

Then there are thick donuts like this that would crumble if you tried to squish them, but they have such a full taste to them.

Yes doughnuts are the best, but because they're so airy they're less filling, I end up wanting more. Cake doughnuts are good if I'm the right mood, and are much more filling.

What ever they put in the bag.

I like going to a shop and asking for a doughnut. When they ask what kind. I say "Whatever you grab."

I haven't met a doughnut I don't like.

I love cherry cake doughnuts. But there hard to find

I've traveled a lot, had a lot of donuts in a lot of places, and nothing can compare.

Crullers are by far my favorite but all shoild bee appreciated.

Speaking of doughnut I may be endeavoring on an adventure of opening a mobile truck soon. I'm debating between large traditional styles or minis served in a cup with your choice of homemade topping ( like strawberry glaze made from local strawberries) that kind of shit. Or should i just stick to real doughnuts instead?

if the bakery calls them raised on the menu then that's what teh customer will call them.

i'd never heard the term "yeast donut" before this thread, actually. to our baker, raised donuts are just "donuts" and are what you get in any flavor not specifically advertised as a cake donut.
