Had one for Thanksgiving. Had two actually. AWFUL everyone keeps bringing up how terrible it was. Mushy and flavorless, not knowing which part you're eating.

We had it prepared from a place that specifically makes them for the holidays and did not attempt to make one ourselves.

I recently did an experiment with this at work. Deboned turkey, duck and chicken legs then used transglutaminase between each to bind them together. Dropped 'em in the sous vide for three hours at 60 C. It was actually pretty good. I don't think I'd like the full on filled with oyster stuffing whole bird version though.
