Large curd or small curd? Which is better?

mostly prefer large curd. i really don't care for the texture of small curd by itself, but if a recipe calls for cottage cheese or even farmers cheese, I will use small curd.

large curd cottage cheese with tomatoes, salt, and pepper is one of my favorite 'healthy' snacks.
