I miss when Emeril was a big cheese celebrity chef you saw everywhere. The putzes they've gotten fill his time slots and media coverage just don't do it for me.

This guy flat out ignored my brother when he was a teenager. My brother used to love watching his show when he was a fat piece of shit and saw him in an elevator and tried to say hello and he totally ignored him. I get it if it was in a very public area but it was two people on an elevator. Emeril is ruthless. Breaking the hearts of fatties since the early 2000s.

an old lady tried striking up a conversation with me in a hotel elevator once. i had my headphones on too and was in the process of turning down my music/taking off my headphones when i hear her talking shit so i just ignored it. elevators aren't a place to converse.

Up in the top right he says there's a volcano in Flavortown. If it's coastal too, then perhaps a chain of volcanic islands like Hawaii?

The plot thickens, we are getting close.

Flavortown is confirmed an American city, correct? Are there any volcanos on mainland USA or is it Hawaii?

His old half hour shows were really good, then the hour long shows came along and that's where it went to shit. It started with the band and studio audience, neither of those are useful for a cooking show. Now they've advanced to shaky cam.

There are volcanoes in a number of states touching the water: Alaska, Hawaii, Washington, Oregon and California.

Alaska and Hawaii in particular have a lot of volcanoes near the coast, some of which have been reported as active as recently 2013.

Are there any volcanoes that are in the same town as a shipyard though?

Not him, but me and my dad used to love watching "Essence of Emeril". It was before the band and audience, just him in a small kitchen with a camera. I'm not gonna call him a sellout because the guy inspired me and I'd have done the same thing if my little cooking show got that popular. But the quality really did decline when he started hamming it up in front of a studio audience, me and my dad agreed. He didn't act the same and all those little quirks we loved he turned up the volume on and they became loud, forced, and obnoxious. Emeril didn't always have to scream and say "BAM!!!!", it used to just be kinda funny when he did it because it was different. But with all the attention and the studio and people paying good money to see him scream BAM instead of giving a fuck about what he was actually cooking, it ruined him. I'm not mad, I just stopped watching him.

That was one of the 1/2 hour shows, the other one was just him standing outside with a grill. No shaky cam, no music, no studio audience, no BAM, just him relating useful stuff.

I always thought that if I were to get married it would in Hawaii on the side of some mountain, but... it hasn't happened yet. Silly chicks want everything to be a huge production and I'm just the opposite.

What does that have to do with Alaska though? I think we should write off Alaska from even being a consideration for the location of Flavor Town for obvious reasons. Sub zero temperatures, not much local food to eat, Weird seasons and daylight patterns.

I've never considered Hawaii but it makes perfect sense. Flavor Town must be somewhere in Hawaii.
