It similar to salami but different. Obviously paprika gives it a red color. It's spicier, usually a smaller diameter, and more finely ground. It's probably a subclass of salami but it isn't the same thing at all.

When it comes to pizza, there's nothing more satisfying for me than getting one of those pepperonis that's kind of half on the crust, and it gets a little crispy with the edges curled up.
