good sushi is easy if you have the following,

bamboo mat
sharp ass knife
rice cooker

sushi rice
rice viniger
salt

fresh fish
other stuff, avacado, cucamber, carrot ect
toasted seaweed

ABOVE ALL ELSE wash the fucking rice
USE A RICE COOKER
SEASON THE FUCKING RICE

No he won't. Just buy a simple ass roll and nothing too elaborate. In fact nevermind this won't work since they will want evidence like looking at the dirty pots and pans you used to make the dish. If you say you washed them already they will not believe you.

You'll be lucky if you can make something that even resembles sushi in this time.
You're going to need short grain glutenous sushi rice. Rice seasoning or rice vinegar and sugar/salt.
Wash rice well, water should wash clear or rice will be a gooey fucking mess.
Make quite a bit of rice because youre going to do quite a bit of fucking up the rolls while youre trying to learn in this pathetic amount of time.
Fuck the raw fish deal, you have no idea what you are doing. Try a vegitarian roll or imitation crab. Don't go getting people sick because you're a dumbass.
There are tons of recipes for the rice, but I just add seasoning to taste. Fold rice over itself to distribute seasoning evenly and fan dry rice until its all nice and shiney, cover it with a damp towel until you're ready to use it.
The rest is just spreading the rice on your wrap and arranging the bits.
Rolling takes a good bit of practice.
I hope you know how to sharpen your own knives, because slicing these rolls is another hurtle. Provided you have a shave-your-hair sharp knife, start by cutting off the endpiece, wipe all residue off of knife, and repeat for each cut. Any sticky shit on your knife will tear the wrap and make it look like shit.

Obviously there is much more to it, but this might get you started.
And for the love of god don't use anything other than sushi rice or this shit just wont be worth your time.

The rice is the most important part of good sushi. Any idiot can buy really nice fish and cut it into the correct size, but the rice is where you live or die. Get a good sushi rice recipe and get that shit ASAP.

Fish is easier as long as your knife is ok. Just stick with salmon. It's easy enough to get decent cheapish raw salmon everywhere.

Now don't do any stupidly complex rolls that are popular for some reason. Just stick with nigiri. All you'll have to do is get a ball of sushi rice and put a nice slice of salmon on top. Extra points if you brush the salmon with the soy/horseradish sauce while putting it together for that Jiro Dreams of Sushi legitness.
