Yeast just like bacteria & viruses can be alive or previously were, they are not living creatures who feel pain of some sort, but rather they're simply microorganisms that simply exist, at least to our understanding.

It can along with treatment. Diet is a huge part cancer cell growth. Which is why third world countries with large populations exposed to more carcinogens than the first world still have lower rates of cancer. The main difference between them is the amount of animal products you consume.

Research on rats did indeed show reversal of cancer with diet. So while there's no hard evidence that cancer can be reversed with diet in humans it is not a preposterous suggestion.
