White onion, iceberg lettuce, roma tomato slice, bleu cheese, a small bit of homemade bbq sauce, pickles, thin layer of mayo on bottom bun only, and rarely will I put a tiny bit of ketchup on the top bun.

Mayo, Cheese (not American, most likely Smoked german or blue cheese), french fries in burger, lettuce, beef tomatos, ketchup, white onion either raw or cooked and sometimes Chorizo or bacon.
Counted it once 1 burger was 1200 cals, thank god I eat this once every few months otherwise would've become an elephant.

Once in a great while, I'll butter the bun and put it face down on the skillet to get it crispy.

The burger should just be ground hamburger, salt and pepper.
The cheese can be anything other than American (God Bless, but you taste weird)

>I'm the guy who makes a sandwich out of just bread and meat.

i have a friend who does this and it breaks my heart that he is destroying his health by eating litterally nothing but meat and bread and procesed cheese for 80% of his diet

I actually got him to like a little mustard but fuck. he hates anything green that isn't brocoli.

fucking this. if you've got a good blend of cuts that you either ground yourself or had the butcher grind for you, using high beef, that's really all you need. if it's generic ground beef, add mustard, jalapenos, and baby swiss.

It's a preference, dude. Someone else liking a different kind of burger is of no consequence to me, but that's the kind of burger I like. I'm sorry that the idea of people having different opinions upsets you so much.

Also, A1 is perfectly acceptable for cheap steak, or a steak sandwich.

this. a much creamier "condiment" than ketchup or mustard (which contrast and sometimes can even mask the flavor of the beef) and is a good substitute for mayo (for everyone in this thread who like mayo) or even goes well WITH mayo

>> No.6986381

Mayo should only be used in a thin layer as a fat barrier to stop the bun from getting soggy
