Grandmas own recipe, translated from Spanish:

Ingredients:
-One lamprey
-Garlic (enough)
-Salt
-Parsley (enough)
-Four or five onions
-Saffron
-Olive oile (one glass)
-Black pepper (two grams)
-Cloves (three)
-White pepper (a bit)
-Cinnamon (half a teaspoon)
-Nutmeg (a bit)
-Bread

Cleaning:
Clean the lamprey in a big bowl with hot water and a knife, pull the teeth out and when it's clean, put it in a pot to collect the blood. Cut from mouth to the other end, pull the whole guts.

Sauce:
Grind garlic, salt and parsley. Dice the onions and put them in a pot with the olive oil, the ground stuff, the cloves, saffron, pepper, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Add the lamprey and boil it with water for an hour.

Grind some fried bread with the sauce and add it so it thickens. Serve hot with fried bread.
