I traveled to rome and naples and expected delicious food that was better that any italian food I've *ever* tasted.

>mfw I was served poverty food that looked and smelled like dogshit.

I remember being sick for a week after eating a plate of pasta with chunks of some canned dogfood smelling substance smeared all through it.

Please explain yourself, Italy.

It appears you were served dogfood because you were mistaken for a dog. I am certain I am speaking on behalf of all of Italy when I assure you that we are all most heartfeltly regretful of this terrible mishap. I have no idea whatsoever how such a demeaning mishap could ever come to pass. Certainly should no-one treat tourists with such disrespect and carelessness despite their countenance, manners, and suspected species. As such, it can only be an honest mistake.

Italian and American-Italian are two different cuisine philosophy.

With that being said you can't walk into a random Italian restaurant expecting the best Italian food. That's like foreigners walking into a random burger joint in the US expecting to eat the best burger they've ever had.

The worst food I've ever ate was in Italy. Not even trolling. Cold, bland, questionable ingredients, dirty everything and piss poor service to boot.

Funny how all these threads that attack either perfectly fine foreign foods or foreign cuisines all together, are started by Americans.

Kinda makes you wonder.

Anywhere there's no culinary tradition you'll find that profit motive trumps quality. That's why Americans loathe other countries, they know they're getting the Spaghetti-O version of all foods.

So I guess you're just another dumb fuck Yuropoor or Ausfag looking for a fight because you blindly hate the US.

All of these cities have fantastic cuisine ranked alongside the best your elitist horse-shit country has to offer. But, because you're an idiot who is too poor to actually travel to the US, you sit behind a keyboard capslocking MCDONALDS until your knuckles crack.

You can transplant haute cuisine anywhere in the world, but I'm talking for people like you. You people don't get to enjoy that food in general. You get mass marketed obesity food.

But that's absolute horse shit. I eat that food daily. I cook that food daily. Its readily available to me, as is the junk food. I walk to that kind of food when I want to eat out. You're an ignorant individual who lets the internet help them form equally-ignorant stereotypes of other countries. Congratulations on being the exact stereotype you apply to Americans.
