I'm looking at changing my life considerably in a number of ways but the foremost is my eating. I eat a lot of garbage because it's easy.

I looking for some drop dead easy meals that provide a suitable level of nutrition. Very low carb and high fiber /protien. I'm talking throwing frozen veg and canned beans into a pot level of sophistication. Ideas?

Can I eat healthy with just salty/savory/bitter foods?

I can't deal with sour or sweet foods. If I have fruit it MUST be grapefruit

Fruit is not really something your body requires from what I've found. You can effectively supplement the vitamins and your body can do well without the sugar. Check out Tim Ferris and his diet layout.

I just made 3 meals worth of Quinoa with carrots roasted in cumin. Tossed in sultanas, a little bit of ACV and olive oil as the dressing. I'm lazy so this was pretty good cheap and healthy. Lots of protein, quinoa shouldnt be lumped in with other carbs.

Slow cooker man. I rarely have the energy to cook after work so I'll just eat the same meal for a couple days until it runs out

Very simple before bed throw meat and vegetables into pot set on low bam when you wake up you got something delicious.

Costs like 13$ for a crock pot and it saves so much on eating out

>Very low carb and high fiber /protien
>canned beans
beans are all carbs.

that being said, I eat veggie chili pretty much every day. I pressure cook dry beans and store them in the fridge, and when I want some chili, I throw in 1 cup of beans, 1 cup of sweet green peas 1 cup of water, and a spoonful of tomato paste, simmer, then add garlic, onlion, and curry powder, and italian seasoning, and franks hot sauce. I eat this chili with whole wheat bread.

I throw some pinto beans, a chopped onion, and some random frozen vegetables (whatever's on sale) and then throw it on a plate with a fried egg for breakfast.

Breakfast:
Bagel with cream cheese
skyr 1 cup with honey and dried cranberries
2 eggs scrambled, cook low and with a little water: salt and pepper added at the end
a side of chorizo just browned in the pan after the eggs
a glass of milk sometimes with protein powder

Protein about 70-80g at this point

Lunch
Salad of spinach
Buffalo chicken wrap made of chicken breast
sweet potato chips
Pasta salad

Pasta salad just from a box so just follow those directions. For the buffalo chicken wrap, I used a wrap with 9g protein in it. Premake chicken strips, not breaded, and cover in spiced and fry in a pan over medium heat. I cover in hot sauce and butter for a buffalo sauce, and keep it seperate. I put it in the wrap, with a bunch of spinach, hummus, and some bleu cheese.

Protein for lunch- 45g

Dinner
Chicken or pork and Rice
Glass of Milk

2 cups of cooked rice, and chicken sauteed in a pan with a wine sauce or with soy sauce.

Protein: another 45g

Total calories around 2700 which is a good amount if working out

Not so much a primary idea, but mushrooms are calorieless, so if you pair them with something good and roast them in the oven for a half hour with some olive oil and salt...

Good shit. Oil's calories, so not a shitton. Eat as much as you like.

Just cook two cups of quinoa in chicken broth and toss in some sauteed veggies or meats. Easy.

if you don't have a good source of green peas, then it wont taste very good. My local supermarket sells big bags of sweet and plump frozen green peas, so I'm set.
