Well since 95% are american ice cream types I will say this: I sure as hell love salted caramel / cookie dough / whatever crazy shit but those aren't >flavors. That type is decent ice cream with delicious add-ons,

I would only consider it a flavor if its the taste of the base itself, not the shit they swirl into it.

I will also say this, as little as I like Austria and Vienna in particular, I would recommend anyone to come here for the ice cream, it is hands down the best I have ever had, better than anywhere in Italy. The following flavors are referring to specific ice cream parlors, I wouldn't call the flavors uniformly good:

Stracciatella, Mango. Nocciola, Masala Chocolate (seasonal) @ Eis am Schwedenplatz

Salzburger Nockerl (google it, hard to explain), Butterkeks @ Heiling Eis

Alpenkaramell (!), Butterkeks, Zotter-Chocolate, Wild Strawberries (very, very rarely) @ Eisgreissler

Forgot to mention but avoid Zanoni and Bortolotti like the plague, they are shit tier tourist traps.
A very new ice cream parlor here called "Eisn'hower with some maymay sounding creations I couldn't believe myself but shockingly good. Essentially they have 6 flavors, each served with 3 toppings (no choosing yourself) which sound like absolute meme pretentious shit. For example plum with goat cheese, thyme and something else. But damn, there is a reason they are preconceived creations, you wouldn't believe how every hint of flavor complements the ice cream so well it's like they were meant to be. Or passion fruit with ground coffee beans, candied mint and dulce de leche, absolutely crazy. Bonus points for being quite cheap and run by literally two guys who do everything themselves, they even grind the coffee beans and mint with mortar and pestle when you order. Also completely unknown so you probably will be the only one ordering.
