Weed has a strong pesto-like herbal taste that, in my opinion, does not pair well with sweets. I think it works better in savory dishes. I suggest making pot butter and putting it in your pasta.

He's right though. You can put anything in brownies if you cover it with enough butter and sugar. Pot brownies work because the bitterness from the chocolate hides the weed taste.

In my personal opinion if you're using weed in sweets you really need to make an extraction. The more weed byproduct, the worse flavor.

Savory works much better and the weed butter pasta the other anon suggested is fucking good.
If you ARE going to make sweets, make weed butter much like you make clarified butter. Keep skimming the scum off, then strain it through a stainer lined with cheesecloth and push as much liquid through with a spoon as possible.

Then use the clarified weed butter to make fruity pebble crispy treats. Thank me later.

Anything you can put sage in you can put weed in. They pair together really well too.

Majority of people don't eat pot brownies for the taste. I've never tried professionally baked good from CO, WA or NL but most of what I had was either designed to hide the taste or to eat it to quickly so it doesn't bother you.

Weed is for niggers.

Super easy weed mayo would suggest you put it on something that has a strong flavor say a hamburger or a BLT.

>vape some weed
>mix about a half gram of vaped bud with mayo
>let sit in fridge for a few hours
>for best results let sit over night

I heard you need to cook weed with oil at a certain temperature to activate the effects of the drug. Is this true?

If I fried some ground buds with garlic, rosemary and onion and then made a stew or soup from that, would that work?

Kind of. The end goal is to get some THC into your body. The bud contains mostly THCA, which doesn't become THC until it has been decarboxylated. When you smoke, the heat of the flame causes the decarboxylation to happen. If you're cooking, you need to make sure you reach the right temperature for this to happen. You also need to worry about how you are going to get the THC into your body. It can be absorbed from smoke in your lungs, but it is also fat soluble, which means that the THC molecule can dissolve into oil, butter, cream, etc. This is a good way to get it into food, which is why any recipe for cooking with cannabis will involve some heat and some fat.

Definitely grind the buds, don't put them in whole.

Come to California, where all you have to do is pay some semi-retired doctor $60 to "recommend" weed for your "insomnia." Then it will be legal for you.

>buy pic related or similar, typically calls for 1 stick of butter for a batch
>stick of butter in saucepan
>enough water to cover the stick
>boil, butter melts into water but will not burn
>grind or chop weed, the finer the better
>simmer weed in butter/water mix for a few hours, adding water as necessary to maintain butter/water ratio
>allow to cool until you can handle it
>filter through cheesecloth (or use a few coffee filters if you're a peasant
>allow to sit at room temperature until seperated
>place in freezer for an hour or so to solidify butter raft on top of green water
>scrape out butter
>use butter to make cookies

The idea here is that most cannabinoids, THC in particular, are not water soluble. Many other compounds found in the plant ARE water soluble but have no psychoactive properties. The water will be dark green and nasty because it will act as a filter and partially or completely remove these water soluble molecules, again most of which have no use in a pot cookie other than to make it taste like shit. The water also makes it impossible for the butter to burn.

Oatmeal cookies will have a faintly detectable weed flavor and will knock you the fuck out if the weed is good or even if its shitty and you use alot of it relative to the amount of butter. If you use a more flavorful cookie mix (chocolate whatever) then you could probably pass them off as regular cookies and dose unsuspecting people.
