I make pizza almost every day.

The absolute key point is to purchase a proper oven for it. They get way hotter, way faster, and can easily be had for 100 bucks if you're only making personal size (10-11") pizzas, with a 2 minute downtime between pizzas if you're cooking for other people.

If you're very poor, you can buy a heavy ass pizza steel or stone and preheat it in your oven for an hour, then lose half the heat when you open the door so your cheese doesn't cook right.

Dough is way easier than it seems, you can make a big batch, then freeze it in individual portion balls. Mine takes about 4 hours to totally defrost, so you pull it out in the morning and have pizza for lunch/dinner.

Sauce is a bit of a hassle, honestly I'd just say get canned catering stuff instead of bothering with making your own. Lower quality, but it's cheap and always ready. I like spiced sauce, but it all depends on if you're going for takeaway/italian style.

For cheese, buy nothing but mozzarella. The soft buffalo stuff if you're trying to make neapolitan, the dry normal stuff if you're looking for shit that's way easier to use, far cheaper, and lasts a couple of weeks in the fridge.

I use the dry stuff, let it sit in the water for 15 minutes, and then add it to the flour.

I only use a gram or so for 6 dough balls, but I leave them to raise for a long time. It's meant to improve flavor, but I just do it because I like leaving them overnight instead of using them after 2 hours. There are a million dough recipes out there, just try them out until you get a feel for it.
