They weren't offtopic or troll posting or whatever, even though I have posted a few of those. They were just opinions

I think there's a janitor deleting stuff he mildly disagrees with. It's kind of weird

That's not hard to do, most BBQ competitions no longer use the red ring as a part of their judgment because it can be induced by certain types of chemicals.

Its not bad. They have good consistency to their brisket and I like the smoke job and their rub their bbq sauce is pretty good too. I like Coopers as well but they gave me the fatty end of the brisket twice so Im a little disappointed I think they save the good portions of brisket for hunters and locals.

My experience with Rudy's has been pretty bad. They always serve me the burnt part of the brisket.

I really like mesquite smoke im surprised more joints don't use mesquite. Seems like the only good use for the plant. My dad has a smoker and he makes pretty good mesquite smoked steaks and brisket although the last brisket he got was choice and it was fatty as hell. I think he got the brisket from Costco. so maybe the choice briskets at Costco should be avoided.

speaking of sops my friends uncle made a really good sop. Me and my friend went hog hunting and got a pretty big sow and he cooked the thing on his pit. He made a sop using about 6 beers(natty light) an onion some vinegar a couple of lemons and a few other spices probably some garlic and what not. Was a really good sop we probably basted the various cuts of meat every 20 minutes or so. The ribs turned out awesome.

Cooper's Bbq in Llano, TX is my all time favorite bbq place in the entire world.
After that, I guess my own bbq would be my favorite. Although, any bbq place in the TX Hill Country (excluded Austin, because fuck you, that's why) is great.
Now, where I live, it's much harder to find good bbq. I live in NorCal, and while there's quite a few bbq places, most of them specialize in ribs and smoked tri tip. Both of those are fine and dandy, but I like my brisket, smoked sausage, and smoked bone in pork chops (have to be at least 2 inch thick on those).
