I never ate school lunch. It was bad enough that in middle school I always ate PB&J and in high school I just stopped eating lunch. Except on Fridays and Thursday, when the two mini restaurants in my school were open. We had a little burger joint on Fridays and on Thursdays the culinary program made food that was objectively speaking pretty good.

A thing of chicken the size of a goddamn softball with this glaze all over it, but it wasn't gravy.

On top of this, they would always give us the most overcooked vegetables I've ever seen.
