First, there's no official explanation. Anything in this thread is just speculation.

According to their history, the founder discovered he could fry a chicken cutlet in the same time as it takes to cook a hamburger patty.

Seeing as their drive thru almost never stalls for more than a couple of minutes, it seems to be working for them.

Even with the pressure fryer, I reckon it would take double the amount of time to cook bone-in chicken, and they'd have to cook roughly double-sized batches to make sure they could meet demand.

Their food has that just-made-fresh appeal. Even as good as Popeye's is, I still get that perception that I'm eating something 15 minutes old.

All I know is every single chick-fil-a in NC and SC I have ever been to has had drive thru lines all the way around the building and in two rows of cars and if you go inside the lines are the same and the place is always packed. So regardless of what anyone on 4chan thinks, people love them like crazy and to say otherwise shows lack of knowledge on it, never going to one yet saying they suck to the world and not just as your own opinion, or purposely trolling thinking you're cool when you really just look retarded. How does CFA have such quality employees? They pay their entry level workers minimum wage just like everyone else.

I'm guessing it's because they hire middle class white high school and college students almost exclusively, and the blacks they do hire are well spoken, polite, and actually look clean. How can they manage to get all the efficient white teenagers to work for them for $8/hr but almost every other fast food place is run by 30 something black women who are actively hostile to customers as opposed to chick fil a employees who improve your mood with their politeness and kindness and their managers who are always in the dining area chatting with customers and personally refilling drinks?
