Does anyone else have a "go-to" pleasure meal, like something you will treat yourself with every couple of weeks?

My personal one is to order medium-sized margherita pizza, head next door to the Chinese place and order egg-fried rice, curry sauce, chips and some bitesize spring rolls, and then pour all the Chinese food on the pizza when I get home and fold it over (like a burrito) and eat it from top to tail.

I'm curious to find out what other people have as their luxury meal.

I went through a period in my life when I leaned toward more posh indulgences. These days I'm back to simple pleasures, and am lucky enough to live in a place where they're easy to come by:

The best Vietnamese sandwich I've ever had is made right around the corner from me.

Great Puebla style Mexican (tacos, cemitas) are all over my neighborhood.

Good Italian-American and Lebanese are widely available. Also Turkish.

When I'm in the mood for a little indulgence the above are my "go to's".

Mine is chorizo and sweet potato hash, served in a bowl, and topped with guacamole.

Either miso ramen or hotpot.

Rarely when I can afford to go to a place that serves it I get beef sashimi, the most addictive food I've ever had.

Sushi
There's a really good sushi place like 1.5 miles from my house & sometimes on a payday I'll blow like $50 on a variety of rolls & sashimi then I'll share it with my dog & play vidya gaems

I don't eat it very often as it's a bit disgusting, but damn it just tastes good.

>Cold pasta leftovers
>Eggs
>Cheddar

Heat the pasta with a few tablespoons of water and a magi cube. When the water has reduced, add a few eggs and scramble them.
Add cheese once the eggs are done and let it melt.
Wala! Dinner is served.

It's so good and so ridiculously easy to make. Smokey, spicy, sweet, and the guacamole adds just the right amount of creaminess to balance it out. You'll want to eat it until you're sick.

I'm into a Fried Chicken Rice from the Malaysian place down the road.
Something about the absolute simplicity of the chicken rice gets to me, simply chicken, garlic rice, broth and a spicy sauce. I think it's a marvelous dish, and continually look for a better chicken rice.
I just like the fried chicken rice at this place because they got a good rub on the meat.

I go to the local Chinese buffet and eat almost nothing but "cheese wontons" which are just cheap-ass crab rangoon without the crab. It's wonderful, but I'm transitioning back to vegan from being vegetarian, so I'll have to give them up soon.

Hopefully I can make a good alternative.

Pickled eggs with onions, a big bag of cheese Ruffles, chocolate chex mix, bottle of ginger ale and a giant meat lovers pizza with cheesy crust.

I do this once a month, or 3 times if I'm depressed.
I'm 1.80 and 210 lbs.

Nah, I have some pretty bad ED and eating vegan is pretty much the only way to get a handle on them. I lost 50lbs last year, but went back to vegetarian and gained 10 back. I want to get fit and healthy, so vegan is the way for me.

Plus there's all the animal abuse and other things that I'm sure you've heard of a million times over, which are all reasons I believe in as well.
