I, for one, love Guy Fieri. He is the embodiment of what every man, woman, or child should strive to be. He is absolutely stoked every minute of every hour of every day, unable to feel any negative emotion. His bombastic euphoria allows him to even brave the shittiest of Friday's appetizers with a grand smile on his face, utilizing unnecessary adjectives like "killer" or "kickin" or perhaps even "poppalicious" whilst doing so. He sees adventure everywhere, from the bland realms of Food Network to the prospect of a Friday's in Toledo, Ohio. He is the man who embodies every Smash Mouth song ever written, even going as far as to look like the lead singer of Smash Mouth. He is the essence of every Capri Sun commercial you've ever seen. He is Guy Fieri, the fall-off-the-bone messiah.

I used to watch Diner's Drive Ins and Dives when I was a kid. I enjoyed it at first. Sure, Guy was annoying, but it was a necessary evil to tolerate so I could see all the interesting local eateries he visited. Eventually, though, it got to a point where I could no longer stand watching Steve Harwell eating righteous food while flippantly dancing around the kitchen in his flip-flops, covered in glistening sweat.

I stopped watching Diner's, Drive Ins and Dives and Food Network in general. The whole channel had been poisoned bu Guy Firey. Now it seems his poison has spread beyond the Food Network. There's a fast-casual eatery in my area that opened recently, Johnny Garlic's, that was started by Guy. I can't stand to go anywhere near it, and every time I must drive past it I give it a good flip of the bird.

Even my beloved discount grocer, BigLots!, has been infected by Violent J. I see his products in the aisles, and I can tell by their markings that they're products made specifically for BigLots!. I flip those the bird every time I see them, too.

Guy Fieri has ruined my serene life.

I don't really get the Guy hate. He's a little obnoxious on his earlier shows, but once he got into game show hosting he found a good groove. He gets contestants excited as fuck. makes for good TV. His old cooking show wasn't too bad either if you like frat boy food.
