Look, I know we have a lot of ramen threads here, and that most of them are trolling, but I wanted to share.

I eat instant ramen maybe once a month or so, more for nostalgia than anything else. But when I do make it, I enhance it so that it's more like an actual meal. For tonight, I got Sapporo Ichiban, and added: chopped spinach, broccoli, Huy Fong chili garlic sauce, a fried egg, and a little Kewpie mayo for some creaminess.

... It was delicious. Had I the patience to transfer everything to a real bowl, I would have a better pic, but I was just too hungry. Anyway, the point is that even with a cheap base like instant ramen, you can enhance it to the point where it's, well, pretty darn good.

What do you do to your instant ramen? What other examples do you have of shit-tier food elevated to goodness?

When I make instant ramen I usually cut up half an onion and maybe some mushrooms and spring onions and put that shit in there, and I boil an egg as well and put in. It really elevates what would otherwise just be something to fill your stomach to a real lunch.
