Probably sushi - sashimi or fatty tuna. Lobster is good too. hate crabs since it's a pain in the ass to actually get any meat. Lobster is good too.

I'm just lurking but I support this thread

I really like shrimp, caviar, sushi, sashimi, lobster, anchovies, soft shell crab so I can eat the shell, squid, oysters, claims, and tuna steaks.

You're trying way too hard. I tried oysters once. They were horrible. Crab and lobster arent anything special either. They're ok, but way overrated.

I'm in houston Texas where do I get sooft shell crab? I keep thinking it would taste delicious. I really enjoy red fish, blue crabs, and octopus, scallops on the grill with some bacon, a pasta putanesca, a shrimp coctail and ceviche, gumbo, I really wish I could grow and breed prawns, and those eel sushi thingies with the brown sauce are probably my favorite food.

HEB supermarkets often have them. So does just about any of the "Hong Kong Market" chain including the big one on Bellaire. Jusgo supermarket in Diho Plaza on Bellaire has them too.

Or you can go a little south to Seabrook/Kemah and get 'em right out of the water.

Scallops are obviously GOAT.

I like crab too, but only when I'm in the mood to work for it. Otherwise eating it is just a pain in the ass.

What about sea snakes? I hear the Japanese sometimes eat them. I like all fish + shellfish but they have to be cooked generally (most sushi is okay but I'm not a huge fan). I really detest raw cocktail shrimp.

Octopus, squid, mackerel, anchovies and razor-clams are all pretty damn good.

The clams are slightly lower than the others but get a boost as the memories of gathering them with my dad sweeten the taste. Nostalgia and homesickness are a potent seasoning combo

A shorter list would be seafoods I've tried that I don't enjoy:

many, though not all, freshwater catfishes, especially air-breathing ones, such as clarias and snakeheads
seacucumber
genuine caviar (not roe or the stuff in the tube as I like those)

I honestly think that's it. I partake of all that swimmeth in the sea, be they with or without fins or scales.

yes

sardines are the GOAT snack food and stay good forever, low in mercury and tastier than tuna

I have no idea why they died out in america, at least the canucks and euros still export them here. Brunswick king oscar and adro riga are great
