So, to save money I've been toying with the idea of an indoor grill.

I have a small portable grill, and I'm wondering if it's safe to use indoors to cook things like chicken, vegetables or even bacon and eggs for breakfast.

I would save a lot of money by not having to use electricity and instead using wood, coal and a cigarette lighter.

What does /ck/ think?

No you won't. And good luck with the smoke alarm, not to mention the smell.

you're a fucking moron

get a grill pan if you're married to the idea of grill marks

might as well just get a gas stove, you retard.

remember, when you first get it installed, you have to let the gas run for about an hour before it's good to go.

Say you put the stove top on for 1 hour a day (plenty of time to make breakfast and dinner), that would cost 4.6 dollars a month. Lighter fluid for 30 fires cost more than that, not to mention the labour of getting wood, chopping it and drying it, and the insurance / safety...

Never mind, just kill yourself.

This thread reminds me of the black guy who bought a generator when his power got cut off and killed his entire family due to the fumes.

If I aerate this shouldn't be an issue though, it's not like people die every time they have a BBQ

You definitely should use a propane grill to get that nice clean burn that won't interfere with the flavor of your steaks

If I aerate my apartment really well, then I don't see the problem. It's just a little smoke.

That's rude. I thought people here knew about cooking, but all the advice I'm getting is mean and not constructive towards having an indoor grill.
