>Chili con carne (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈt͡ʃile koŋ ˈkarne]; English: chili with meat), commonly known in American English as simply "chili", is a spicy stew containing chili peppers, meat (usually beef), and often tomatoes and beans.

There is no best brand of canned chili.
Canned chili is shit. Why don't you just open up a can of dog food and be done with it.

Just had some of this with cheese dip and fritos. Was pretty bomb.

Haven't tried yours OP but I always liked Stagg. The Dynamite Hot one is one of the few ready meals I can get that is actually hot without me having to add chili sauce/powder to it. There's quite a lot of meat in it too for a canned ready meal.

It does look and smell like dog food when it first comes out of the can. It has that depressing cylindrical tin can moulded shape when it hits the saucepan, but I just pretend I didn't see that and smash it with a wooden spoon.

I think the Dynamite Hot variety is okay for what it is. Good when you're too drunk to cook and just want to reheat something spicy to put on some toast. I wouldn't serve it to a guest unless I knew they had the same "easy going" standards as me though.

boy there are so many fine, articulate styles of canned chili on the market, it's a fool's errand to judge one against the other

you literally can't go wrong with supermarket canned chili

Bush's beans have so much sugar they taste like bean candy.
So I've never tried their chili.

I'm convinced like 80% of this board just reheats packaged food or goes to fast food joints. Fucking disgusting.

I don't really care for fast food. I do enjoy making homemade things, but I'm not exactly a five-star chef. I'm better at baking, I feel like a failure when I actually cook, even though it's always decent.

>> No.6777388

>>6777289
Experts recommend a BALANCED, VARIED diet.

That means getting a balance of homemade stuff and prepackaged ready meals. You need a variety of different kinds of food: Fast food, traditional food, healthy food, snack food, fried food etc.

You need to know this stuff when you're posting on a food and cooking forum you know.

I love this board BECAUSE 80% of it just reheats packaged food or goes to fast food joints.

It's one of the only boards that doesn't even pretend to have good taste in its subject. It's like if everyone on /lit/ admitted they read True Crime and Stephen King.
I like a board that reflects the actual pathetic state of my wonderful life.
