My yard is overrun buy snail. Can I just gather them all up and fry in butter and garlic?
Is this pretty much the same as escargo?

The short answer is no because they may have eaten weird shit like fertilizer or other stuff that wouldn't be good for you to eat.

Nail them in beer traps, you dig a small hole in the ground, put a cup or small bowl in it level with the ground and fill it with beer. The snails get attracted to the smell of the beer, crawl then fall in, get drunk, then drown. Good times all around.

This may be weird but of you have a lot of snails and you don't want to use pesticide you should find you if you have a local wildlife center.

I volunteer at one and we have a lady that doesn't believe in killing bugs so 2 or 3 times a year she gives us a giant box of snails and we feed them to our opossums who go crazy for them.
