For all those times you've cooked something great, but the people who ate it thought otherwise.

>buy a fuck-ton of green beans from a local farmers market
>can almost all of them
>they taste pretty damn good
>still about a pound of un-canned beans left in the fridge
>moved back in with parents because of high rent
>parents try my canned beans
>they go apeshit over them
>dad eats them almost every day for a week
>dad gets high one day before dinner
>"Anon, I'd like it if you fixed some beans"
>about to go grab some of my canned stuff
>"Not those beans. THESE beans."
>he opens the fridge and grabs the bag of beans
>still need to be cleaned and popped
>starting to go bad
>slightly freezer-burnt from being in the fridge for a week
>okay.jpg
>cook them the same exact way I cooked the canned beans
>tastes kind of shit compared to my canned stuff
>"ANON THESE ARE THE BEST BEANS I'VE EVER HAD"

i don't see how that story is annoying at all. they seem to really like your food. it sounds like basically just an elaborate humblebrag to me. why would you be mad that people like your food.

Because I fixed something good, they liked it, I fixed something shit, and they liked it more.

I don't understand people sometimes.
