I don't trust people that can drive away to serve me food.

Nice roll. Food stands mostly are good quality as long as they are not fried food.

>> No.6666218

I don't like the price.

It's always like $9 for half a plate of their stupid shite

You're paying for convenience. It's the same reason food at gas stations is so expensive.

No shit. Doesn't make it any less retarded

Not really. Its a cute idea but the execution is usually mediocre in my experience with food trucks in D.C. at festivals and everyday, and in Portland, where they were supposed to be amazing but they just seemed precious. The only person I found who actually loved them was addicted to heroin and would get weird hamburger combos while high.

sounds comfy af

Then don't buy food from them. There's nothing stopping you from eating at a restaurant or getting take out instead. Does it really make you angry to know that other people spend money in a way you would consider wasteful? Are you affected by all instances of this kind of behavior, or just this specific one?

>> No.6666250

I also think they're a touch too expensive, but I'm going to one later today anyway.

I never saw a $9 hot dog at a gas station.

>> No.6666347

I've never experienced such a thing. But if it's anything like a food court where I can get a Baja Blast to go with my slice of pepperoni pizza and egg roll, I think I'd like it.

>> No.6666350

>>6666279
That's because you don't also pay for quality at a gas station.

Is every restaurant you to go great? No.

There are good food trucks and bad food trucks, just like anything else in life. At the good ones, being able to get high quality food on the street during your lunch break is worth the price.

>> No.6667920

Olive Garden is starting a food truck and is driving it through Italian neighborhoods. No joke.

>> No.6667928

In Camden (London) there's a pizza stall run by an Italian guy called Antonio, you can get a whole huge calzone for £4 with a drink, a 12" pizza for £8 or a slice for £1.20. He uses good ingredients and the food is nice, plus it's funny watching him shout 'GUYS ANYBODY WANNA ORDER' in his accent.

>> No.6667934

Some jackass like food truck festivals so much he built an indoor food truck food court here.
