>go to taco bell and get a crunchwrap combo to go.
>proceed to mcdonald's and get a couple mcdoubles
>bring my taco bell bag inside since I was planning to eat it all in there with my burgers
>manager says I can't eat outside food there so I have to take my mcdoubles to go
literally why, how does it impact their business at all? customers are already in the restaurant, they aren't going to see me eating a crunch wrap inside mcd's and go "hmm, fuck this place i'm going to taco bell even though i'm already in mcd's

I hate america sometimes tbh

slippery slope problem.
You clearly aren't impacting their business with your specific example, but policies need to be clear-cut in order for them to be effective and to stop people whining about inconsistent enforcement.

>>I hate america sometimes tbh
Me too, because it's enabled lazy fucks that can't be arsed to cook for themselves.

you tell him you want your money back if you are not allowed to use the restaurant. he would shut the fuck up real quick.

Males traditionally depended on restaurants if a woman didn't cook for them. Know your history, bub.

>US invented fast food much less resturants

Cmon think a little before letting off that edge

Not likely. Females never go anywhere alone. The manager wouldn't have the balls to approach a group if anon was with one.

I never said that US invented either. You might want to work on your reading comprehension.

It happens to all countries as wealth increases. Once people can afford to eat out as opposed to being forced to cook from scratch for budgetary concerns laziness creeps in and more and more people start buying pre-made shit, fast food, etc. Then the next generation grows up never being taught how to cook properly so they assume that cooking is hard and never bother to learn.

The US was probably the leader in that regard because it was the nation which developed that sort of buying power for its average citizens first--back in the days right after WWII. Other countries are catching up now which is why you see the same sort of obesity problem in the middle east, in UK, Mexico, etc. Heck it's even happening in my home country (Thailand). The country was very poor when the US was developing fast food, microwave meals, etc, after WWII. But during the 1980's that started changing. There was an insult back then which basically translated to "plastic bag housewife". It was used to look down on women who bought instant food instead of cooking from scratch. Nowadays nobody cares about that anymore and we're happy to eat fast food just like the west.

>the rich ever cooking for themselves
topkek

>> No.6641784

>>6641743

Nobody said anything about the rich, anon. We're talking about when average people are doing well enough that they aren't living hand-to-mouth every day that cooking skills become lost.

Perhaps you missed it?

Maybe they don't want a fat glutton making their restaurant look bad (even for McDonald's) and disturbing their customers.
