But seriously, I would answer this but I just use butter and salt. I cut it up into pieces and mash it on my plate and melt butter over it and salt it. Then I eat it like diced potatoes. Pleb or not, it makes me happy and I'm not afraid to do it in any restaurant or at home in front of the kids. They have not been scarred by it yet. I would just put whatever you like on it. I think it's sort of like bread and sandwiches..pretty much anything goes. Dump some meat chili over it and cheddar sauce with sour cream hidden under it. Taco beef maybe instead of chili. Mash it all into a big mess and eat it.

Not that guy but I was poisoned by potato and its obvious in retrospect when they are toxic. There's a green undercoat and the flesh is really firm even after cooking. This happens when apotato is eexposed to sunlight. I grew that particular tater too shallow, didn't cover it up, then just assumed that particular spud was weird. It was a rough night

As a former line/prep cook at several restaurants including a couple rather well known US Prime Steakhouse chains, I'd highly recommend eating the skins from any restaurants. I've never seen any of them give the potatoes more than a cursory rinse before traying them up. Too much pressure on the prep cooks to finish up and get off the clock to save labor costs. Individually scrubbing 500+ spuds is seen by upper management as a waste of time and therefore money.
